Stratum is Richlite with an 'Edge'. No where else can you find such a unique and visibily engaging edge on a surface material.

Sustainable

Made with FSC® certified and post consumer waste paper content; may contribute to LEED® points; and manufactured with Richlite's innovative Waste-to-Energy technology.  No Added Urea-Formaldehyde (NAUF) and manufactured with Plyboo with Soy Adhesive.

Easier Fabrication

Because of the combination of paper composite material and bamboo, Richlite Stratum makes for a little easier fabrication, as the primary component of Stratum is bamboo. This also makes drilling and fastening into Stratum a relatively simple task.

Light Weight

Richlite Stratum weighs 30% less than a standard 1" Richlite Northwest or Cascade product. Currently, Stratum only comes in 1" thickness.

Extended Cantilevers and Long Spans

One should feel confident about the catilever and span ability of Richlite Stratum. Although one can greatly push the boundries on Richlite's standard full thickness Northwest and Cascade catilever and span abilities, it is best to stay within the recommended range. As a rule of thumb, 1”-thick Stratum is stable up to an 18” overhang.
