With the outer surfaces of Maple Valley and alternating layers of Browns Point, Black Diamond, and Chocolate Glacier, Richlite’s Shasta color creates a dynamic look. The layers of Chocolate Glacier will darken to a rich brownish-black. In contrast, the Maple Valley layers appear a pale, amber color and, over time, will darken to sienna, and the Chocolate Glacier layers will darken slightly while becoming richer and deeper.
PATINA: Richlite patinas are like a natural wood product and vary from sheet to sheet. Like wood, it will mature in color, giving greater depth to the surface. Over time and with use, Richlite will develop a seasoned appearance characteristic of the material. There will be more luster in areas of heavier use. Overall, it will appear softer and deeper in tone.
