Richlite Recognized for Sustainable Manufacturing
The Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) holds an annual meeting in Seattle, bringing together organizations and manufacturers committed to responsible forestry and sustainable supply chains. We're proud to share that Richlite was honored with the 2026 FSC Leadership Award.
A Rare Distinction
There are approximately 2,500 FSC certificate holders in the United States, and Richlite was one of only two organizations recognized with this award. Other honors presented at the event included Project of the Year and Forest Management Awards.
Receiving this recognition is an honor, but it's also a reflection of something that has been central to Richlite for decades: creating high-performance materials while maintaining a commitment to responsible sourcing and manufacturing.
Not Our First Time
This is the second time Richlite has received the FSC Leadership Award. We were also recognized in 2019.

Founded in 1994, the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) is an international nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting responsible forest management around the world. FSC certification helps ensure that forest products are sourced in ways that protect ecosystems, respect Indigenous rights, support workers, and preserve forests for future generations.
For manufacturers and consumers alike, the FSC label provides confidence that materials can be traced through a verified chain of custody, from responsibly managed forests to the finished product.
