Silverback Marine, headquartered in Tacoma, WA, and founded in 2016, is an innovative designer and builder of aluminum vessels, ranging from landing crafts and work skiffs to truckable tugs and mini‑barges. In a recent collaboration with Richlite, Silverback ventured beyond traditional fiberglass backerboards to incorporate Richlite slate cladding panels for luxury helm station surfacing. These panels were meticulously milled with precise cutouts, LED backlighting, and control interfaces to deliver a functional yet refined console with a matte, non‑glare finish that also offers rugged durability, machinability, and marine‑grade resilience.
