Commissioned by Salisbury BID, with funding from Arts Council England, This Too Will Pass is a Richlite sculpture that stood in Salisbury's High Street in Summer 2021. Referencing the act of pilgrimage, This Too Will Pass encouraged visitors to move through the site along a common path.
The linearity of the design provided a spiritual link to the past and ongoing pilgrimage to Salisbury Cathedral. The sculpture was intended to capture a moment and be an interactive platform for reflecting on the past, making sense of the present moment and building a better future.
'I am keen for the sculpture to be interactive -a place and a platform for the community to reflect on the past, make sense of this moment and to build a better future.' - Tim Scrace
