DURABLE
Richlite is extremely durable. It is stronger than stone and solid surfaces and can endure long spans and cantilevers without additional support.
PATINA + AGING
Over time and with use, Richlite will develop a seasoned appearance. There will be more luster in areas of heavier use. Overall, it will appear softer and deeper in tone. It is similar to the manner in which natural wood products deepen in tone over time.
STRIATIONS
Due to the natural variation in the paper fibers, Richlite has subtle striations running lengthwise in the material. This is less apparent on dark colors but still may exist.
STAIN RESISTANT
Generally speaking, Richlite material resists stains quite well. As with all countertop materials, there is potential for staining. Most spills and light stains may be cleaned with a damp sponge.
