PHENOLIC MATERIAL
Phenolic material, like Richlite, is an advanced composite made from layers of renewal paper infused with resin, engineered for high-performance applications. Renowned for its exceptional durability, versatility, and machinability, phenolic material is an ideal choice for millworkers, fabricators, and custom builders. Its strength, resistance to wear, and ability to be customized for various thicknesses and finishes make it perfect for a wide range of industrial and architectural uses, offering both functionality and sustainability.
DURABILITY
Richlite is designed to stand up to the rigors of everyday use, resisting scratches, dents, and UV degradation. It’s ideal for millwork applications that require materials to withstand wear while maintaining a premium look.
MACHINABILITY
Richlite is easy to cut, rout, drill, and sand, making it an excellent choice for millworkers and fabricators working with CNC machines and other fabrication tools. Its consistent, uniform structure ensures smooth cuts and precise finishes with minimal effort, allowing for efficient, high-quality results every time.
VERSATILITY
Available in a variety of colors, textures, and finishes, Richlite is incredibly adaptable for different design needs. It can be used for countertops, cabinetry, furniture, and more.

• Lab surfaces
DURABLE
Richlite is extremely durable. It is stronger than stone and solid surfaces and can endure long spans and cantilevers without additional support.
STRIATIONS
Due to the natural variation in the paper fibers, Richlite has subtle striations running lengthwise in the material. This is less apparent on dark colors but still may exist.
PATINA + AGING
Over time and with use, Richlite will develop a seasoned appearance. There will be more luster in areas of heavier use. Overall, it will appear softer and deeper in tone. It is similar to the manner in which natural wood products deepen in tone over time.
