THE ROSEDALE NAME: Rosedale is a small town on Henderson Bay located in Gig Harbor and just a short boat ride to neighboring Dead Man’s Island. Originally name in 1883 for all of the wild roses surrounding the bay, Rosedale has grown into a quaint burg but still has an abundance of vegetation including wild roses.
